Board Members present:
Bob & Frankie Douglas, Herb & Bobby Shaw, Mona Marsh,
John Mitchell, and Bob Earls.
Guests present:
Howard & Evelyn
Freedman, Lois & Gene Bradshaw, Daryl Campbell, Bill &
Wendy Jabs, and Roger & Jan Eddy.
Director Robert Douglas
called the
meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
Secretary’s Report:
There were no
November Board Meeting minutes.
Treasurer’s Report:
Ø
Herb Shaw
reported that the club had a balance of $9421.00 in our
checking account; $2000.00 was given to Howard Freedman
to pay bills for the CCCA Fall Tour leaving a net
balance of $7421.00 in the treasury.
Newsletter Editor’s
Report:
Ø
Jana
Freedman will compile and edit information for the Hood
Release and The Distributor. Until we get her e-mail
address, please send any articles or information that
you want in the newsletter to Howard Freedman or Bob
Douglas.
o
It was
suggested that the information regarding non-ethanol
fuel that will be available for any vehicle as of 1
January 2010 be in the newsletter.
Membership Report:
Ø
One new
member for 2010 at this time: Bagwan Meyer
Ø
There are
currently 10 people who have not yet paid their dues and
it’s possible that half of them may not renew.
Ø
We hope to
have everyone’s information ASAP so that the Roster can
be completed by the end of January.
NWCCA:
Ø
Now that
the NWCCA is defunct, we will remove the NWCCA
representative from the Roster.
Ø
It was
discussed that if the organization tried to regroup, the
OR Region CCCA will probably not rejoin.
Sunshine Report:
Ø
Evelyn
Freedman reported that Bev Smith is recuperating.
2010 Board of Director’s Meetings
Ø
Director
Robert Douglas brought a suggestion to the Board and a
discussion ensued regarding changing the monthly Board
of Director’s Meetings to a monthly Dinner Meeting that
would include all members, the exception being the
December Planning Meeting, which in 2010 will be held at
Roger and Jan Eddy’s home.
o
After
hearing the information about 2 restaurants, Buster’s
and O’Connors, it was voted to hold a Monthly Dinner
Meetings at the Annex of O’Connor’s Restaurant in
Multnomah.
o
Howard
Freedman will send out a flyer to everyone informing
them of the change. Dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. with
a short meeting to follow.
o
This will
be a car club dinner meeting and not a Board Meeting; it
will be a time for members to socialize and hear
information on upcoming tours and important information
only.
Social Activities:
Ø
Mona Marsh
is now in charge of the club’s Social Activities
Chairman. She asked for activity ideas for 2010.
Ø
The Board
thanked Jan Eddy for her excellent contribution as
Activity Chairman for the past few years
Tour Report:
Ø
Roger Eddy
asked if anyone had suggestions or ideas for any new
tours. Everyone said they were happy with the tours and
events that the CCCA has offered in the past and wanted
to continue them throughout 2010.

o
Visit
Mosier Tunnels; perhaps after the Hood River Tour – We
need to get more information as to the best time for us
to visit and drive through the tunnels
o
There were
several ideas discussed that needed additional
research. That information will be brought back to the
Board.
We
covered everything else necessary for 2010 planning
purposes and, as there was no additional business to
come before the board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:45
p.m.
At
this time the Oregon Region CCCA would like to thank Jan
& Roger Eddy for hosting our Board and Planning Meeting
at their home.
