BOARD & DINNER MEETING MINUTES – 1 September 2011

called the meeting to
order at 7:20 pm as Director Rodger Eddy was out of
town.
Secretary’s Report:

A motion
was made and seconded to dispense with the reading of
the minutes and to approve them as they appear on the
CCCA website.
Treasurer’s Report:
Ø
Herb Shaw
reported that the club currently has a balance of
$9,316.86 in the treasury.
Newsletter Editor’s

said that the Hood Release is out and members
should receive their copies within the next day or two.
Membership:

reported that there are no new members at this time.

Director Robert Douglas talked about two upcoming tours:

Olympic
National Park Tour, 18 – 22 September, 2011

Tour will
meet at 9:00 am in the west parking lot of the old
Montgomery Ward Building

The tour
will be going to La Push and Lake Crescent and driving a
total of less than 700 miles.
§
More
information will be coming out soon to tour participants
§
Bhagwan
Mayer has arranged for tour participants to see an auto
and sundry collection in Forks, WA
o

National Caravan
– September 7 – 16, 2012

The first
ad for the tour appears in the August 2011 issue of the
national CCCA Bulletin
§
A deposit
to reserve a place in the tour is required and so far
two people have already signed up.

A website promoting the Tour can
soon be found online at

Participants will be able to make reservations and pay
for lodging using this site.

Everything
that needed to be done to date has been done. Another
planning meeting will be held in February or March to do
whatever else needs to be accomplished at that time.

2012 OR Region CCCA Planning Meeting will be held on
November 11, 2011, at 7:30 pm, at Jan and Rodger Eddy’s
home

The 2012
Columbia River Concours will be held on August 5, 2012,
and there will be many changes to the event

The OR
Region CCCA received a Certificate of Appreciation from
the Columbia River Concours for our contribution in
sponsoring a class award
