Coachwork Art
For those who have motorcars from the
"classic era" or own a vehicle of special interest up to 1948, we are
offering coachwork illustrations executed in the manner and style of early
coachwork catalog and magazine art of the period. For sometime now we have
provided "original art" for collectors who have used the watercolor gouache on
100% rag substrate, paintings not only for decorative art, but in some cases
we have prepared preliminary art work to aid in the process of
restoration. Detailed examples of colors, striping, whitewalls vs.
black-walls, etc. have been a boon to folks who need a little help with
visualization. Often times the finished art precedes the completion of the
restoration itself and serves as incentive for things to come. The
renderings themselves are usually accomplished in an elevation style
replicating the early art, however 3/4 views or detail vignettes, backgrounds,
details of the motorcar or era, or in some cases, portraits of past or present
owners are also available. For more information, or a flyer,
